co-op.care
For new members

Your first 30 days.

What membership actually looks like, week by week, for each role — what you do, what it costs, and what you get. No metaphor, no mystery. Pick the row that's you.

You're caring for someone you love
Week 1

Take the two-minute assessment — a conversation, not a form. It shows you which dollars your family already qualifies for. If it fits, a physician-reviewed Letter of Medical Necessity ($49) documents HSA/FSA eligibility when the care qualifies.

Week 2

Name your circle — the people already helping. Their hours start counting on the family ledger: the invisible work becomes visible.

Week 3

If you need hands, the co-op matches you with a verified caregiver — $35/hr all-in, and every visit is verified three ways: who was there, that it happened, and that it helped.

Week 4

Your dashboard shows everything. And you're a member now: bank your own hours in the time bank, and your vote counts the same as everyone's.

You're a neighbor who wants to help
Week 1

Start a table — coffee with two or three people on your block. That is the smallest first step, and it's how every circle begins.

Week 2

Give an hour through the time bank. One hour given = one hour banked — at par, giftable, never cashable. Mutual aid, not money.

Week 3

Double-confirm your first visits — both sides attest the hour happened. That is the anti-fraud spine that makes banked hours trustworthy.

Week 4

Want it to be your work? Become a paid Care Neighbor — $26/hr W-2 plus equity and a vote (see how).

You're a caregiver leaving an agency
Week 1

Talk to us. Bring your credentials — the co-op's employer agent runs payroll, workers' comp, and background checks. You never carry the compliance alone.

Week 2

First matches: a bench of families you keep — not a rotation of strangers. Families rate and keep the caregivers they trust.

Week 3

Your first verified visits: you attest, the family attests, and the benefit gets scored. Your work becomes proof — the record no agency ever gave you.

Week 4

Patronage equity starts accruing. You are not staff — you are an owner, one member, one vote (read the rule).

You're a clinician
Week 1

Review AI-drafted LMNs in the $49 flow — the AI drafts, you sign. The maker–checker loop, with you as the checker.

Ongoing

Attest the benefit layer (Omaha-scored) behind the entity firewall. And a promise: roles, never names — we do not put your name on this site.

You build things
Week 1

Start at /builders. Students earn patient-care hours on real work (how that works).

Ongoing

The commons is open — playbook, templates, governance Rule. The ledger is yours to build on.

What it costs — the whole price list, in one place

$49 — a physician-reviewed Letter of Medical Necessity

~$59/mo — membership, the value stack

$35/hr — paid care, all-in (caregiver earns $26/hr W-2 + equity)

Free — neighbor care, the time bank, and the family ledger

The member share that makes you an owner is on /own — it's an ownership stake at par, not a fee.

The honest part: co-op.care is pre-revenue and Boulder-first. Joining now means you're early — the first circles are forming, and the people we're looking for hardest are the founding caregiver-owners. If the thing you need isn't running yet, we'll say so.

The rules all of this runs under are public — read our Rule. Then pick your first step.
